So Much To Thank Him For!

Today was one of those highly productive kind of days.  I'll let the pictures explain...

8am- Sam watches as the car is towed to the dealership.

9am -Boys room is cleaned and organized.

Beds made, robes hung.

Girls room mostly clean, beds made, with tent still on top.

On a roll:)  Our room is clean, bed made, curtains opened to allow maximum sunshine.

Waffles adorn the table.

Special salmon sauce is prepared.  Syrup is poured over it.  4 out of 5 enjoyed it. Elyssia didn't, Kiersten was asleep.

Monkey bread baked, devoured and thoroughly enjoyed.

Around 2 pm the snowplow arrives!  So excited!!!

Baby enjoyed watching as the yard was cleared.

He did extra so that the propane truck could get through.

The second battle of Ai-Kiersten was volunteered to be a bad soldier:).

Garrison preparing for the invaders...

Joshua is confused as to where he's supposed to be.

Wonder what is on the little guys' face?  Scott found him trying out tea bags:) Why am I not surprised.

Tricking the people of Ai into following us.

They've been defeated, the city burned...

and covered with stones(we were nice and used pillows).

It was a pretty good day all around.  The car diagnosis is a new fan blade is needed, same as the van.  The downside is that they have to order it from the States and it won't be here for 10 days.  The nice thing is that the van gets its new fan blade tomorrow and Scott can use it for work.  We'll be a one vehicle family, but I'm choosing to be thankful that we have two vehicles in the first place.  Thankful that the yard is clear so that Scott can get the van fixed and the propane delivered.  Thankful that it was a beautiful sunny day and Scott took the kids out to play for awhile:).  Oh, I'm also thankful that the fan blade is under warranty and all we pay for is the labor.
We also finished a lot of school work and the kids had a pretty fun day.  Kiersten seems to be trying to say more now.  She's probably getting frustrated with us not knowing what she wants.  She's also trying to say, "uh oh", which is pretty cute.  She says what sounds like "I love you" a lot and then gives me a hug or kiss.  Kind of funny that she would say that and not some of the other simple words.  I'll take what I can get though:).  The kitchen and living room were also cleaned, but now require a bit of clean up after the battle.  It's only 7pm and 2 out of 4 children are sleeping.  The way it's going, I'll have plenty of time for straightening up:).  It's been a good day overall and we have much to be thankful for.  It reminds me of the song the Sommerdorfs sang:
"So Much To Thank Him For"

WHEN I LOOK AROUND AND SEE  THE GOOD THINGS HE DOES FOR ME

I KNOW I'M UNWORTHY OF THEM ALL

BUT HIS BLESSINGS HE FREELY GIVES

I OWE MY LIFE TO HIM I'VE GOT SO MUCH TO THINK HIM FOR.

       CHORUS :

AND I'VE GOT SO MUCH TO THANK HIM FOR

SO MUCH TO PRAISE HIM FOR

WELL YOU SEE NOW HE'S BEEN SO GOOD TO ME

AND WHEN I THINK OF WHAT HE'S DONE AND WHERE HE BROUGHT ME FROM

I'VE GOT SO MUCH TO THANK HIM FOR

      VERSE 2 :

AND SOMETIMES WHILE ON THIS WAY I KNEEL I STOP AND SAY

THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU'VE DONE FOR ME

ONE DAY I'LL REACH SWEET HEAVENS SHORE

OH PLEASE JUST LET ME KNEEL ONCE MORE

I'VE GOT SO MUCH TO THANK HIM FOR
