A day of rest...

Today has been one of the best Sundays that I can remember.  The sun is out and very beautiful.
There was no fighting between the kids going to church or coming home:).  For those who've been in a car with 2 or more kids, you know what I'm talking about!  Caleb and Kiersten fell asleep in the morning service and stayed that way til just before potluck.  The new sound system was installed and it made an amazing difference in what was heard.

Excuse the bright orbs of light.  The sun REALLY wanted to come inside:).

The sound guy did an amazing job, but I wasn't about to pull out the camera and take a picture during church.

The downstairs speaker is wireless and works great.  We listened to the afternoon message downstairs.
We had some great food at potluck, as usual, and the fellowship time was wonderful.  Here are some of the pics I took of the kids.  I haven't done as many of them dressed up lately, so today I made up for it.
Elyssia wore this outfit around the same age.  So neat to see how they have similarities, but also differences.

Cute sisters

They're saying, "Hi Nana!"
Now we're at home, Scott and Garrison are napping and I'm waiting for my turn. Elyssia is on her bunk reading Sunday School papers:
Kiersten is carrying around the box of Shreddies, taking a break from chasing Caleb:) and Caleb is running around with a sagging diaper.  Guess that's my cue to end this post and go enjoy the rest of our DAY OF REST.  Next week we'll have two more services, since we're scheduled at the Manor and Caleb Village. We'd better rest up while we can. Hope everyone else is enjoying another beautiful day that the LORD hath made!
