The spies in the land, found fruit to carry home on a pole.(Grapes would be the correct fruit to hang, but they were super expensive and the kids know the Bible story well enough to pretend. |

Run! There's a giant in the land! |
I'm not afraid, says Caleb, "Beat, beat beat". He proceeded to whack the giant(poor daddy), then Garrison(playing Joshua) went after him:) Totally not how the story went in Bible times, but it shows the bravery of Joshua and Caleb, even if the other 10 spies warned the people not to go in because of the giants.

We woke up to a really bad storm this morning. It's supposed to taper off tonight, but it's gusting at 56 km an hour. We have snow drifts at least 3-4 feet in some places and it's still coming. I'm gauging the amount by watching how high it gets on the swing set. Scott was supposed to have Men's Breakfast this morning, but couldn't get out of the driveway. He said he couldn't even tell where the lane was! If it dies down a bit he's going to try to shovel.. We may need some help though. Maybe someone with a truck to pick people up for church tomorrow. The pastor will need a ride, anyway:) Praying it starts to blow the snow away from the lane and that we can get the van out in the morning. We're making the most of our snowed in state-eating, reading, playing, making cards and now we're all headed to take a nap. Have a great Saturday everyone!
