The deed is done!

I did it!  I deactivated my facebook account:)  I've been wanting to do it for quite some time now, but there's definitely an addiction there.  I LOVE to see all the new pics and hear about people getting saved, married, having babies, etc..., BUT it takes way too much time.  Over 200 friends in one place sharing all the cute things their kids say and do.  Then there's the games.  I wasn't playing any and tried to hide all the status updates about them, but many still managed to get through.  It was nice to be able to contact people so quickly, but I'd like to go backwards a bit.  Go back to phone calls or house calls, when possible.  E-mail is still there when needed, but I'd like to hear people's voices again:)  Skype is good for family and friends, but also something to limit.  Looking forward to all the "free" time I'm going to have now.  I may have some withdrawal, but I'll get over it:)  Elyssia was sad...  She enjoyed all the videos and felt like she actually knew many of my friends children, whom she'd never met.  I don't really want her living in a virtual world.  There's plenty to do in the real one.  Speaking of the real one, I'd better run.  We had fun finger painting in school this morning, but now it's time for the 2nd half.  Story writing has quickly become my favorite:). They have wonderful imaginations and I get to be the illustrator.  I'm kinda pathetic, but by the time they want to draw all the pictures I might be half way decent.
