Running behind...

It seems that this is the way it will be for now.  I haven't posted very quickly lately, although there's been plenty to share.  Sunday evening was the start of our special meetings with Evangelist Glen Weeks.  It was really nice to be at the morning service, but the activity proved a bit much for my system and I wasn't up to going in the evening.  Yesterday marked a very special day for me.  It was my first time to vote in Canada!  It was probably the quickest one I've been a part of:).  I almost walked out with the voting pencil too!  That would have been embarrassing.  I'm used to the pen being attached to a chain at the desk:).  We were VERY thankful that the Lord answered our prayers and allowed Prime Minister Harper to be re-elected and this time with a majority government.  Some have said that they believe God blessed him for standing with Israel.  I agree with that and thank the Lord for standing by his promises.
After voting we went to the grocery store.  It's the Family Savings day and nausea or not, something we don't skip.  I have to say it was probably the quickest and cheapest trip I've made since Scott and I got married!  I bought the things on the list and my total was about $125.  My normal total is at least $200.  The rest of the month we just pick up milk, eggs and fresh fruits and veggies.  With all the meals that people have been bringing, there are leftovers in the fridge and I didn't use much of the freezer supply.  We'll have to see how long this lasts, but I was VERY THANKFUL to leave the grocery store with all it's "smells".  Thankfully they don't have the specialty olive section that the one in Trail, B.C. had.  That section made me sick EVERY time!
After sleeping most of the afternoon I decided that I would attempt the evening meeting.  It was SO nice to see Bro. Weeks again.  I made it about halfway through and had to go throw up.  I think a big part of it was singing.  I LOVE to sing and it's very hard not to sing fully when thinking of the words and what the Lord has done for us.  I don't think the baby liked the extra movement and couldn't seem to settle after that.  So, it was back to bed for me today.
A HUGE thanks to my wonderful husband.  He definitely deserves Husband of the Year award for all the extra work he's done during this time(and every other pregnancy)!  I honestly don't know what I'd do without him and don't want to think about it.
This afternoon there was one very excited little girl.  Elyssia got to go to Humptys for lunch with Scott and Bro. Weeks.  I should have taken a pic before she left.  She got all dressed up and was very excited to be going out with her Dad.  I remember being the same way and thank the Lord for having a Dad that spent a lot of time with me.  Looking forward to seeing him again in Heaven.
  Til next time...
