Today's fun included Art projects(no pics yet), Music and Math with Elyssia. Tomorrow we'll be halfway through her manners/habits course. Garrison was working on "L" and "K" activities and practicing tracing. We kinda ran out of time for story writing, which is kind of a shame. We'll have to make up for it tomorrow, since we get to stay home for the whole day:).
Imaginations were very active today:
The kids created a wagon train, poor little horse had to pull 6 chairs and 4 people! |
Caleb is checking to make sure all the passengers are okay. |
Ready to go in the oven! |
I think it averaged out to about $1 each. The Jean skirt has some of the prettiest embroidery I've ever seen. I could probably purchase 2 or 3 of these items for a total of $20 on sale, but not all of them. The Lord has provided above and beyond what we could ask or think. I give Him the credit for helping us to be wise stewards of all that he's blessed us with.
One of our friends had her baby yesterday. They named her Chloe Elisabeth. I think it's very pretty. Chloe was on our names list at one time, but after we had Caleb it had to be set aside. We're trying to have each of our children's names start with a different letter. We still mix up their names sometimes, so I can't imagine if we had more than one starting with the same letter. It will be fun when we're in Georgia. There will be Cameryn, Caleigh, Carter and Caleb:))).
Speaking of Caleb... Here are some things that he's said lately that we found very amusing.
Me: I'm sorry Caleb.
Caleb: I'm sorry for you too Mommy.
Me: This chocolate bar is for Daddy's valentine present.
Caleb: When I get married, then I can have a chocolate bar!!!
Caleb: I love you to the moon and back Mommy!
Me: I love you to Jupiter and back Caleb.
Caleb: I'm not stupid!
(Do you think he needs his ears checked:)))).
Kiersten's drink before bed. |
