Have you ever wondered...

what the younger two do while I'm teaching the others?  Well, here's a glimpse from today:))).
Totally not an everyday occurrence, but funny, nonetheless!

Ruth and Boaz getting married.

It was another busy day. Some school work, some phone calls, a playgroup at the church, etc.  I probably spent the most time visiting a lady that used to come to the church.  She doesn't get out much and just had major surgery.  She seemed to enjoy the flowers and it was nice to visit with her, even if it was hard to know how to be a comfort to someone going through so much pain.  The playgroup went pretty good.  Garrison went to work with Scott for a couple hours while we were at the church.  Kiersten just wanted to climb on the table and eat all the goldfish.  I'm looking forward to the nicer weather so that we can take them to the park and push them on the swings.  It's much easier to talk when all we have to do is give the swing a push every once in awhile:).
Before I head out I'll share a couple of the kids stories with you:
                                          "Ocean Friends"          By: C.S. Holloway

There's an octopus.  He lives in the water.  He plays with Baba Louie, the King of the sea.  Baba Louie is a whale.  Sometimes they get into trouble.  The sharks come and bite them.  (Caleb was disappointed when I told him that a kangaroo couldn't go in the ocean to fight the sharks:).  Their mom and dad rescue them.

                                   "Kangaroo Troubles"          By: G.S.P. Holloway

Once upon a time, in a town called, Candy, lived a Kangaroo.  His name was Jay.  His girlfriend, Elizabeth, was being chased by a poacher.  Jay boxed the poacher.  The poacher fell into his own trap and rolled into a hole.  The poacher had attached the trap to a skate, cause it made it easier to drag the kangaroos back to his truck.  Jay and Elizabeth hopped into town and invited their kangaroo friends back to their home.

"Who Trapped The Lion"           By: E. Holloway

One day, a girl named Elyssia, was out for a walk.  She saw a lion in a trap.  The lion was nice, so she let him out of the trap.  She named the Lion Fuzzy Buzzy.  They played int he jungle together.
One day Elyssia was attacked by a tiger.  She called, "Fuzzy Buzzy Help!"  Fuzzy Buzzy fought the tiger and rescued her.
When Elyssia got home she found that her dad was the hunter that trapped the lion.  He was upset that she let the lion go, but decided to go after the tiger instead.  He found the tiger inside a pit.  They cooked the tiger and ate him for lunch.
                                             The End

Have a great evening!  Looking forward to spending a semi quiet day at home tomorrow.
