Travel posts...

You'll have to travel back a bit in my blog to go through our trip home in the right order.  I wasn't quite sure how I should put it. I'm sure you can figure it out though.  Hope you enjoy all the pics. I ended up taking over 950 pics on vacation.  I'm sure you'll be happy to know that I didn't post ALL of them:).Have a great weekend everyone!

    Wow, what a trip! I spent the last hour reading it all. I wish I had known you were driving through South Dakota. When Abby and I drove to Virginia and back this summer, we took a whole day going across South Dakota. The one thing she said she wanted to see on the trip was Mount Rushmore. We stopped at the Corn Palace and were headed to Wall Drug, when we started passing signs for 1880's town. We stopped on a whim and had the best time of our whole trip! We rented her a costume for $5 and went all over the town and took pictures. She even got to drive the horse buggy on a tour up to the old homestead! It was fabulous! Then we made it to Wall Drug and to Mount Rushmore before dark. It's good to be home, isn't it?

    We would have liked to go to the 1880's town too. Unfortunately it was closed for the season. Maybe next time:). It's great to be home. I just wish that we were having warm weather here too.
