Too Tired...

I was simply too tired to post last night.  We've been getting back to the house around 10 and most of the time I don't get to bed til after 11.  We fixed Tostadas, Burritos, Salsa and Chips, etc last night and the cooking of the onions finished me off.  My eyes were soooo tired today.  We had planned to go to the American Girl store yesterday, but the traffic was so bad that it took us an hour to get to Jason's house after a long day at the Noah's Ark place with Sara and the boys.  The kids loved that place and it was hard to believe that it was free.  I have about 100 pics, but I'll spare you and myself by not posting them all.  Here are a couple that are pretty good:
We asked this young man for info on these animals, but he really didn't answer:)
Watching the turtle.
The bridge that moved a lot when you jumped.  It had alligators in the water below, but we only saw a baby one.
Buffalo are ginormous when you're this close!
This sheep had really long legs and was very friendly.  All the kids petted her and the goat.
Our new best friend. He was showing off for us quite a bit.
Under the beautiful, but stinky tree:).
Caleb wanted to help push baby.

A very special picture from taco night.
My brother Luke and his wife Jessie thought I could use this. I thought it was pretty funny:)  I won't be opening the package though.

Elyssia REALLY enjoyed getting to spend the night with her girl cousins.  She borrowed a skirt to wear to the AG store and Christina did her hair.  Here are the pics from that trip:
Ready to go.
This vehicle was a bit more lively:).
The 1st vehicle driver.
The guide
We found it!
I really want this one!
The girls and their dolls.(We didn't bring Elyssia's on this trip, but now she can play with Kiersten's.)
Cameryn & Caleigh really wanted these wheelchairs for their dolls.  Mom and I surprised them with EARLY birthday presents when we got back to the house:).
Scott, Kiersten and her doll Rebecca.
My first time to eat at Chick-Fil-A.  I thought it was pretty good.

I fell asleep with the boys last night without finishing  the post I started.  That will probably give you an idea of how tired I was.  I'm not used to staying up late and going around shopping malls anymore.  Although I've been enjoying our vacation here, I'm really looking forward to being back in our home, church, little town:).  The one thing that I'm going to REALLY enjoy this next week though is the WARM WEATHER.  I've talked to people back home and Spring is not coming very fast.  It was in the 70s here yesterday and we were quite warm.  There is still time for our area to have a thaw and warm up before we get back though, so I'm going to pray for that!

Favorite Highlights from the past couple days:
-Caleb telling his cousins that they were "pistaken".:)
-Christina asked one of the nephews to borrow their keychain.  She promised to pray for him to be good if she could borrow it.  He replied, "you're going to be praying A LOT!"
-Seeing Scott enjoying Church's Chicken Honey Biscuits after 7 years and enjoying them even more than the 1st time.
-Going to the American Girl store for the first time.
-Watching the girls open the doll wheelchairs.
-Watching the cousins play together.
-Scott and I fixing food for everyone to eat this afternoon.(Ham, Mashed Potatoes, Corn, Green Beans, -Garlic Bread and Cheesecake for dessert.)  I feel full just thinking about it:)

Note: Elyssia wanted a lot of things at the AG store, but we told her beforehand that she could get a brush and one pair of shoes for her doll.  I took pictures of her next to each of her favorite things, that way she could show other people.  Scott said he could always try to make some of the furniture if that's what she was drawn to.  She's been playing with Rebecca and trying on some of the other cousins outfits that they purchased.  Her auntie Jessie also bought her and Abby matching necklaces with an ice cream cone on it.

Well, I think I can finally close this post.  I've been adding to it for a couple days now. Til next time...
