A funny discovery...

I discovered yesterday afternoon that my camera was in the van.  I thought that I'd left it at Sara's house, but it must've fallen out of my bag on the way home.  Oh well!  Here are the delayed pictures from our play day:
Ready to go?
Playdough
Light saber fights.  Not sure how Scott will do carpentry now:)
They kept coming...
Kiersten shared her blanket with Otto after they wore him out:)
Judah(almost 6) height comparison!
Jessie with her "Dew"
Adorable
Caleigh Joy
Gideon Stuart
Carter, Cameryn and Caleigh Chatting
Abigail, just before she started making silly faces.
Sara, I had to take a pic that included her shoes, just in case they weren't seen in the photographer's pics.
So many rugrats in one building!
Carter loves her, but she really wanted to get down!
Elyssia practicing her pose:)
Nathan and Jason setting up the ladder and lights.
Still waiting...
Mom with all the grandkids
Garrison seemed to have forgotten how to smile:).
I'm thinking she took at least 30 pics. There should be one good one in there somewhere:)
Carter and Garrison kept putting their hands up.  Not sure why.
Cousins(we were supposed to be taking these outside at the park.  That plan was changed because it was windy with a bit of rain outside.)
I thought it was hard to get 4 to look in the same direction and smile.  This is MUCH harder.(just a glimpse of the photos though. I expect the photographers pics will be much better and there are a lot of different shots with the parents, etc...
The reward=Stevie B's pizza buffet.
This is our first time taking the kids to a buffet. The younger 2 were free.
Brandon sitting over at the "teen" table.  The others are getting more pizza.  Imagine that:)
Late Christmas coming from Germany:)
Baby wanted hers open.
Abigail with her doll Abby:)
Scarecrow Kiersten-The stuffing was in her present:)

Yesterday also included a trip to the hospital for Kiersten.  She'd fallen before we left and her foot was caught in the chair.  She walked off and seemed to be fine, but on the way here I noticed that it was really bruised.  I kept checking it to see if it was improving and things and yesterday we got a bit concerned.  It was puffed and felt lumpy.  They did x-rays at the hospital and thankfully no bones are broken.  The doctor said it's a hematoma, which means that there was some bleeding inside, but it should be fine.  We'll have her checked again when we get home if it seems to get worse.  Praise the Lord Scott purchased travel insurance before we left!  We'd gotten it before when we just had Elyssia and never needed it.  This trip is much longer and there are 3 more kids that could end up with some injury.
The guys did another casting call for Jason's show, "The Solomon Bunch".  I'm excited to see the show when it's complete.
The Stevie B's buffet was probably the best pizza I've ever had at a buffet.  I tried a lot of new kinds, because it was a buffet:).  There was an alfredo chicken pizza, that was really quite good.  Scott tried a loaded potato pizza.  It had sour cream on it too. He thought it was pretty good.  The kids liked the dessert pizzas and the pasta.  Imagine that:).  Kiersten ate a breadstick, dessert pizza and drank quite a bit.  Then we went into the arcade for a bit.  I haven't been in one of those for several years.  It's a big money maker for them though.  It's quite different to have all the nieces and nephews coming up and asking for tokens though.  I think I gave each of them one and tried a popcorn game.  My favorite is the free throw basketball.  Chandler was convinced that I couldn't beat his score. Then he came up and was trying to throw during my turn:)  Then Caleb came up and was trying to take all my balls.  Needless to say, I did not have a chance to beat Chandler's score... Oh well, that's the sacrifice I'm willing to make in order to be around these little(and bit) ones that the Lord has blessed us with.  We're truly trying to make the most of our time here and the time is going quickly.  Today we have two outings planned, so I'd better wrap this up and help Elyssia with her school for the day.  She's VERY excited because she gets to sleep over with all the girl cousins at Christina's house!  I'm excited for her too.  Maybe we should make it an all girls sleepover, that way Kiersten and I can go too:).  We shall see, we shall see....
