Forgetful...

I'm getting more and more so, I'm afraid.  I have some really great pics from today, but I left my camera at my sister in law's house!  We spent the afternoon there and Scott had lots of fun with light sabers and 4 boys.  They would all come towards him at the same time and I'm thinking he's going to have LOTS of bruises tomorrow.  The boys and nephews thoroughly enjoyed it:).  Kiersten got to meet another little dog, named Otto.  He's the brother of Kipper and they seemed to get along pretty well.  The kids were sad to leave, but I'm sure that we'll go back at least one more time before heading home.  On the way home, these are a couple of things that were said to us.  "I want to live here with my cousins."  Caleb, "I want to go home!"  Me, "Elyssia you can't stay here we'd miss you, Caleb we can't go home yet."  Elyssia was sad, Caleb replied, "then I'll run away to the zoo and put you in a pot of stew!"  I'm really not sure where he came up with that:).  It's a good rhyme though.  We've read stone soup several times, so perhaps that's it.  I'm really glad that Elyssia LOVES all her cousins, but it's a little sad to think that she'd leave us behind so quickly.  Tonight we saw Luke, Jessie and all their kids at church. We went to different classes, so there wasn't a lot of time to visit, but we'll try to make up for that in the days ahead.  Elyssia and Garrison liked their classes and Caleb stayed with Scott.  He was more adventurous on Sunday, but has decided that he still prefers to be with us.  Kiersten is warming up to the nursery workers, but is still a bit sad about it.  She's VERY happy to see us at the door.  Such a great feeling:).  Tonight she said, "I LOVE YOU".  There was prompting, but it was quite clear.
Tomorrow is the big day. Family pictures at 4.  I was able to find black shirts for everyone, so I think we're set. It rained a lot today, so we're praying that it warms up tomorrow and dries up the park we're scheduled to be at for the pictures.
That's about it for now.  I'm going to head to bed pretty soon.  It wouldn't look to good to have black circles under my eyes.  Til next time...

  1. Dena is just like Elyssia. Always wants to go somewhere, never wants to come home. She would leave us for cousins in a heartbeat! But I'm sure eventually she would miss us. :p
