The long awaited visit of my mom is almost upon us! It's been 2 years and about 3 months since we were in Georgia and had a real visit with her. Amazing how quickly that time has gone and how much has happened around here. It'll be interesting to see how quickly Addie adjusts to her. She loves to wave at her on Skype, but it'll be her first time to "meet" Grandma Prisk.
Thankfully a friend is driving me to Saskatoon to pick her up. Combining the tiredness, nausea and overstimulation of the city driving probably wouldn't be a safe combination for me right now. SOOOO thankful that I haven't thrown up yet! Praising the Lord for answered prayers and asking for a double portion of energy tomorrow:). We're going to try to do a couple of special things after we pick her up and I'll need it for walking around, etc... Celebrating my 31st Birthday 4 days early and for the first time in Saskatoon. I'm hoping to get some chicken fajitas:).
I've been missing the battery charger for my regular camera for about 2 months now, thus a lack of pictures. I've posted some from my cell, but it's just not the same. Hoping to find it soon because I don't want to buy a new one. Doing one more big search as I'm cleaning the house, so extra prayers for that would be appreciated:).
