An early snow!

All the kids(except Elyssia) pulled out t their snow gear this morning. Chores were completed and some continued to play in the snow. A couple of us enjoyed shoveling snow and getting some fresh air! It is really pretty, but hoping it melts soon. We still have some house Reno's to work on and most of the farmers have crops left to harvest...

Goose Festival Pancakes and Parade!

A few pictures of us right at the start and a few pictures of the last group that came through and enjoyed visiting afterwards:).

Hidden Hollows Renovations

One more side of the house with the new siding. Still seems unreal. At the beginning of the year we never imagined what God had in store for us. To see Him turn a not so good experience(hail damage) into something that is a blessing(opportunity to give the house a facelift!) Thankful for all the hard work Scott and the boys are putting into getting it done!!!

One more child starting to learn how to be organized!

Praise the Lord for Hundreds and hundreds of free apples!!!

This year there were plenty of people that called us to pick their apples or clean up the windfalls. We have been blessed with the opportunity to preserve more than any of the previous 10 years. With all the windfalls that went to the pigs included, there were probably well over a 1,000 apples picked this year. Thankful to have processed the last of them this afternoon!

Out with the old window, in with the new!

Thankful for this window through the years, but thankful to have a new one that should keep out the snow:)
Also thankful to have one part of the house with new siding. Little by little Hidden Hollows is getting a facelift this year.

Back to School Picture...

Looking forward to another busy school year with this crew!

Burning trash is an event around here!

Everybody has a job to do. Bringing the trash, filling water buckets, keeping an eye out for flying sparks. After 3 days of rain everything outside of the trapped trash was soaking wet. Thankful this big job is finished!

Eldest daughter decides she loves making food!

Elyssia recently decided that she really likes cooking and baking. She isn't trying to make the easy recipes either! She started with scones, cinnamon buns, and squash bread. I should take more pictures. I do have one of her banana bundt cake with cream cheese frosting.

God's provision...

We have been looking for a suit for Garrison for close to a year. The last time my mother in law visited she brought 2 suits that Scott's brother wore in high school. Both look brand new and they both fit quite well. I never expected that God would provide them this way, but it is a great blessing!

Rainbow after 3 days of rain...
